This painting was produced for a client who wanted a more artistic and detailed vision of their current home than they could achieve with a camera. A painting such as this allows the artist to adjust the image to show the house to it's best advantage, with the right lighting, while eliminating obstructions such as foliage that may oscure certain aspects of the home. This "idealized" vision can remain with the customer for years after they have moved into a new home, preserving the memories represented by that period of their lives.

   This technique can also be used to bring back memories of a family farm or other nostalgic time by using old photos to create a full-color vision from the past. You can also design a personal Christmas card!
