 "Early Departure"

JetBlue Airways, founded by airline industry entrepreneur David Neeleman, started operations on February 11, 2000, with service from New York's JFK airport to Buffalo, NY and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Since then it has grown into the 5th largest US air carrier, and as of November 2015 they serve 92 destinations in North, Central, and South America, with a fleet of 213 aircraft.
During its years of operations, JetBlue has won numerous awards for outstanding service, as well as the loyalty of many passengers due to their emphasis on good customer service and low fares. Some of the cities served by JetBlue, besides domestic US destinations, include Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Columbia, Costa Rica, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Mexico, Saint Maarten, Puerto Rico, Peru, and Trinidad and Tobago. In July of 2015, JetBlue launched weekly flights from New York to Cuba, one of the first US carriers granted access after the lifting of the US travel embargo.
