"Twilight in Canyon Blue"

"Twilight in Canyon Blue" depicts a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 climbing into a brilliant evening sky as the sun fades on the western horizon.

Southwest Airlines began operations in 1971 and has thrived under the dynamic leadership of co-founder Herb Kelleher. Pioneering the concept of low-cost, no-frills air service, Kelleher followed his vision to create what has become one of the dominant carriers in the U.S. airline industry. In 2001, Southwest Airlines began repainting their fleet of over 600 aircraft in the new "Canyon Blue" livery. This print shows the 737 in these new colors, which are mirrored by the surrounding twilight sky.

"Twilight in Canyon Blue" measures 12"x 22" (image size) and was published in 2005 from an original oil painting. This fine art print is signed and numbered by the artist and is suitable for framing. It is limited to an edition of 737 copies.
